In this class students will learn the basics of drumming and rhythm. They will also learn about world cultures, how they use drumming, and how drumming and rhythm are an integral part of their society and culture. Students will experience the power of being part of a drum circle and learn team work through working together towards an end of semester performance. Students need to be willing to practice what they learn in class at home, so that each member can equally contribute during class and during the performance at the end of the semester. As we get closer to May we will announce more details about the end of semester performance. We look forward to introducing our students to the world of rhythm and drumming, and can't wait to watch them shine!!
